Last year at this time, we held a program called ROOTS about exploring and sharing family legacies. The feedback from participants was so positive that we are offering it again for a new group. For the first session, please bring one or two artifacts from your family history – a photo or two, a treasured object, a family recipe, an old letter – something that inspires you to tell your family stories. We hope you’ll look forward to sharing some stories of your own and listening to others’. By looking back at who came before, we can better see who we have become. As we age, we begin to look at our own legacy – what stories will we leave behind?
