Beth Herrild, Executive Director

 

Beth Herrild joined South Whidbey at Home as Executive Director in February 2025. Beth and her husband, David, moved to Whidbey Island in 2018. They moved here seeking community and have not been disappointed! Beth has a BS in Fine Arts from University of Wisconsin – Stout and an MA in Whole Systems Design/Organizational Development from Antioch University. She has had the privilege of working in leadership positions in both the corporate and nonprofit sectors as well as having her own e-commerce business. Beth is also an artist and art educator who shows her work in various galleries including Columbia City Gallery in Seattle. She enjoys spending time with her 3 adult children, kayaking, walking on the beach with her poodles, and eating her husband’s amazing cooking. She is honored to be working with South Whidbey at Home and serving the South Whidbey community.

Rosie Liebe

Rosie Liebe, Administrative Associate

 

Rosie Liebe came to Whidbey Island in 2017 with her husband, Barry, after spending several years abroad. Being totally new to the island was well as the State of Washington, Rosie was happy to connect with a volunteer organization such as SW@H to meet people, make new friends and to help the community in whichever way she can. Rosie’s professional background includes accounting, software testing, management, as well as running her own business since 2006, The Body Praxis, where she teaches brain-based movement and Pilates.

When she is not busy working in her studio with clients, Rosie also volunteers as Call Manager at SW@H. She is also actively involved in the local Soroptimist of South Whidbey club. In her spare time, Rosie knits, crochets, tries to master the pottery wheel, and bakes German-style bread and cakes.
