Come learn daily movements to rehydrate the connective tissue in your body\, and to release tight muscles with slow and gentle movements. This helps you to access the deep\, stabilizing muscles of the joints\, which in turn will allow you to cope with recurring pain and anxiety. You are welcome to join us whether you are recovering from injury or just want to find healthier ways to live and age. Wear warm socks as we will be taking off our shoes and sitting\, sometimes standing.

Stay tuned for new dates! \nIf you’re a South Whidbey at Home volunteer\, please join us for a lively interactive workshop on how to serve compassionately without burning yourself out. You know how the flight attendant always tells us to “put your own oxygen mask on first before trying to help others”? That’s a great metaphor for volunteering. This is also a wonderful opportunity to hang out with other volunteers who do what you do : share experiences\, make new friends\, and also feel like part of an amazing team! The training will begin at 10:00 but please join us at 9:30 for coffee\, tea\, and pastries. We’ll be meeting in the wonderful Front Room in Bayview Corner\, above the Tap Room.
