DESCRIPTION:This is a group for any members who live alone. We meet the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of every month from 10:30-noon herein our conference room for discussion\, sharing of resources\, and sometimes speakers. For this meeting on Oct. 13th\, Sari Spieler will be sharing her Go Book with us: “Are you ready to “GO”\, when you have a medical appointment or a surprise visit to the Emergency Room? Does your family or advocate have what they need to support you? Learn how to put together your own “GO BOOK” or prepare one for someone you are advocating for. We will talk about the different kinds of information you should have available at a moment’s notice\, how to get organized\, and where to put and how to share your documents. We’ll help you create a template\, that you then take home to customize. This will be a low-tech approach – easy for those who like to have something to hold onto\, vs. scrolling on your phone. Let’s get READY TO GO!” \n\n\n\n
